Officers responding to a call of shots fired in the 3300 block of West Ohio Street about 8:41 p.m. Monday found a male of unknown age with gunshot wounds to the face and body, police said. He's in critical condition.
The man, 32, was in the 600 block of West 69th Street about 6:30 p.m. Monday when a dark-blue sedan approached and someone inside shot at him, police said.
Officers performing a wellness check found Jason Harvey Jr., 25, unresponsive with gunshot wounds in an alley in the 8200 block of South South Shore Drive about noon Monday. No one is in custody.
Officers assigned to the Robbery Task Force heard multiple shots early Sunday near the 1800 block of South Blue Island Avenue and encountered two "armed offenders," police said.
