Reign Ware was leaving a family party in the 200 block of South Campbell Avenue early Sunday morning when shots were fired from a Jeep. She was killed and a 24-year-old man was wounded.
A 43-year-old man was shot in the 8000 block of South Stewart Avenue at about 8 a.m., police said.
The 19-year-old man was in a second-floor apartment in the 300 block of North Long Avenue about 1:30 a.m. when he was stabbed in his abdomen and chest by two men who were known to the victim, police said.
The shooting happened near a banquet hall in the Kankakee County community were two parties where taking place, police said.
