A man, 40, was on the sidewalk in the 3900 block of West Madison Street about 7:10 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside fired shots, hitting the man in both legs, police said.
A 15-year-old boy was on the sidewalk in the 100 block of North Dearborn Street about 4:40 p.m. Sunday when four men approached him, two of whom produced knives and stabbed him in the back, police said.
