The man 55, was working near Naper Boulevard and Heatherfield Circle when he was hit by a 74-year-old woman driving a Kia Sportage about 10 a.m., Naperville Police said.
None of the four adults was injured in the accident, which happened about 1:45 p.m. Monday, according to officials.
The Park District announced about 11 a.m. Sunday that the fountain — which contains 1.5 million gallons of water — had been cleared of the dye and turned back on.
A 47-year-old was found unresponsive in the 5300 block of South Hermitage Avenue on Tuesday, June 4. Detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
