Hundreds cheered from the sidewalk of Division Street as the parade passed through Humboldt Park Saturday, many holding or even wearing different renditions of the nation's flag.
The seafood restaurant, one of the few smokehouses left in Illinois, underwent extensive renovations for its Saturday soft reopening. “My Facebook page has been off the hook with people just dying to come back,” co-owner Mark Kotlick said.
The home was listed as "contingent" on May 31, which means a sale is pending.
As part of the group's “Cicada Parade-A" initiative, art sculptures of the creatures are popping in the city.
