Flavio Tovar, 26, was wounded in a shooting about 11:30 p.m. on July 3 in 6500 block of South Western Avenue. He is the 22nd person killed in shootings over the Fourth of July extended holiday weekend.
Officers found the 30-year-old man in a vehicle in the 7100 block of South Western Avenue around 7:50 p.m., Chicago police said.
A man, 45, was standing in the 6200 block of South Campbell Avenue about 8:23 p.m. when he was shot in the left shoulder and right abdomen, police said.
