CPS plans to release its budget this week after a month's delay. Sources say much of the discussion focused on a large pension payment CPS wanted the city to resume paying.
The Rules Committee voted down a resolution that would have converted the Legislative Reference Bureau into the Office of Legislative Counsel. That new office would have been charged with giving “competent, unbiased advice” on parliamentary procedure and other legal matters.
The prosecution's closing statements are expected to continue Tuesday.
"He's just really good, and he doesn't ever touch anybody to get by them," said Kyle Larson, who finished third. "That's rare to see, so it's fun to race with a guy like that.''
