Man shot, killed in Auburn Gresham identified

A man who was shot and killed in Auburn Gresham on Sunday night has been identified, official said. Achilles C. Beasley, 18, was sitting in a vehicle in the 1800 block of West 88th Street about 6:05 p.m. when he was hit in the leg by gunfire, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.Beasley, of the 5500 block of South Indiana Avenue, took himself to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:50 p.m., according to the office.No one is in custody.
