Teen shot, killed in Englewood

Marvel White, 16, was arguing with someone about 6:40 p.m. in the the 6500 block of South Racine Avenue. The other person then shot him in the chest and legs with a handgun.

A teen was shot and killed in Englewood on Saturday evening in Englewood. Marvel White, 16, was arguing with someone about 6:40 p.m. in the the 6500 block of South Racine Avenue when they shot him in the chest and legs, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he later died.No one is in custody.
