Teen boy, 17, found shot in Englewood home

A 17-year-old boy was shot to death Monday afternoon in Englewood on the South Side. Jeremiah Doyle was found with a gunshot wound to the head just before 3 p.m. inside a home in the 7100 block of South Winchester Avenue, Chicago police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Officers recovered a handgun in the home, police said. No arrests were made.
